I was nine years when I got my very
first cat (Miss Muffie). Our family has
always had a cat through our growing
up years. Even after leaving home
I had a cat. I guess that I'm a lover
of cats and dogs too.

During the school year I go to many of the Elementary Schools and speak to the students about my pet sitting business. The event is called "Career Day" the children look forward to this day each and every year.(As well as I do to see the faces on the students is some what priceless to me. Many of teachers required that their students use this day as part of their studies for that day. Also I 've received darling thank you cards/notes from the children. In there own words along with pictures that they have drawn. (The students handwriting is simply adorable). Each year I bring my clients dog for the kids. It is so much fun to see the way the kids response to the dog. They just love her (Mini). She loves getting a chance to go to school with me. (See pictures) more on this same page. The students asked me if I would please sign their folders for them. It sure made me feel kind of special. The whole day is a win win for everybody.

When I am not pet sitting, I volunteer at Valley View Vaulters, a nonprofit organization that benefits special needs children who learn to do compulsories exercises, while riding on the horse. I would like to say that Cynthia, one of our wonderful volunteers, has been a really big help with our annual "Day in the Country". Also she been a great help in teaching the children their lessons too. She LOVES to see the SMILES on the faces of kids.You see the cute smiles on there faces and there eyes light up so much. Which puts a smile on her face and a large amount of warm in the heart too. YOU CAN"T HELP BUT going away without the feeling that you have made a small difference in a childs life. The picture in the upper right hand corner is of me in (BURGUNDY SHIRT) on the horse with the girl in the (YELLOW SHIRT) The girl is the babysitter for the blonde haired child. We are trying to get the boy to want to get up on the horse and ride around for fun.They HAVE a very SPECIAL BOND together. She is the student that is taking the classes. The second picture to the right is me holding 1 puppy (8 weeks old) (Dakota Blue) seating on the chairs left to right Lucy & Annie. Below is Fig. They are Australian Shepherds.
